Condolences

Condolence From: Jean Alvarez-Calderon
Condolence: We were shocked and saddened to learn through Canton friends (Kathy Delventhal, Ginnie Stapllefeld) that Cheryl passed away in CT while we were in the south visiting other friends (Crystal Marshall, Bobbi and Stan Leavitt). It is a tribute to Cheryl that her many friends activated such swift notification. Bobbi showed us a lovely note she and Stan had just received from Cheryl
with barely a hint that she had health issues. I had last spoken with Cheryl, looking lively and lovely, at funeral services for Lyndsey Keene in October. We had an animated conversation. I remember years ago at one of Leavitts' Chinese New Year parties, that Demetrio and I sat with Cheryl and Don. We also had the privilege to attend one of her Christmas in January events. More recently, we had chats when she attended the North Canton Community United Methodist Church Strawberry festivals, often with son Don and family. . Since we were new in town in 1977, we never were more than huge fans of those great Canton Benefiit productions, but we got to know many of those involved and again, were privileged to attend the wonderful cast parties. I share these many thoughts with all of Cheryl's family, so that you may know how many lives she touched, in so many ways you may not realize. Our deepest condolences to you all. Hold those memories close.

Condolence From: Norman and Joan Allaire
Condolence: To the Scott family, and extended family.

Joan and I are at a loss of words as to what Cheryl has meant to us over the past 20 years. She is an amazing lady who gave willingly of herself in so many ways to so many causes. That is a heart and soul of a person everyone should know. Cheryl was so kind to have included Joan and I in so many family adventures. We have been blessed to have the once in a lifetime chance of having such a fantastic lady in our lives. She was gentile and so loving, sharing and caring. It is always sad to lose a loved one, and yet I ask you all to think of all the time you had with her. Cheryl has made an impact on my life as well as Joan's. I doubt we will ever come across anyone who has been so kind and loving to us. I pray the lord has reached out to hold and caress her in this new journey of live. All our love Cheryl. We also will have a hole in our hearts. I hope she gets to play with Joan's mom. All of our love to all of you, to all the people she had cause for, and for all the love she shared with Joan, Cecile and myself. PEACE~~

Condolence: Condolences to the Scott Family:

Although I've only know Cheryl Since The spring of 2014, I've come to know her very quickly, as a helpful, sincere, caring lady! Her experience & stories as an Entertainment Mgr, helped me along the way! She will be missed, but I will hold dear the talks we shared and the knowledge she passed onto me for many years to come! RIP, Cheryl. The angels will be blessed to have you join them. Love Julie.

Condolence From: Ginnie Stapelfeld
Condolence: Tom and I are saddened, hearing the loss of Cheryl Scott. She was a bright light in the make-up area for Canton Benefit Productions. That laugh would get you every time. And the parties!!! Oh those parties, where Don would fall asleep in a chair, while everyone else would be dancing and singing. We just saw her at the memorial service for Linda Driggs in Nov. and she looked fabulous. Needless to say, whatever it was, took her way too fast and for this, we are so very sorry. Bless you all, Scott family!
