Barbara Frances (Connor) Case, 94, of Simsbury, wife of the late John Watson Case, Sr., died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born June 9, 1923 in Hartford, daughter of the late Richard and Estelle (Clark) Connor and had lived in Hartford prior to moving to Simsbury 69 years ago. Barbara was a member of the First Church of Christ in Simsbury, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was an avid bingo player and loved puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Hopkins and her husband Jerry of West Simsbury; her granddaughters, Jennifer Reed and her husband Dennis and Diane Case and her husband Roy Dvorkin; her great grandchildren, Finn and Grayson Dvorkin and Payton Reed; her niece, Charlotte Prant and her nephew William Eliason. She was predeceased by her son, John Case, Jr. and her sister, Arlene Eliason.

There are no calling hours and services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McLean, 75 Great Pond Road, Simsbury, CT 06070. The Vincent Funeral Home of Simsbury is caring for the arrangements.
