Aurilie Hilda Thivierge, 95, of Canton, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at John Dempsey Hospital. Born March 21, 1922, in Burlington, CT; daughter of the late John and Augusta “Gussie" (Yeski) Thivierge. Aurilie was a member of the Teachers Association and Altar Guild at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
She is survived by many cousins, dear friends and her church family. Aurilie was predeceased by her sister, Dolores Thivierge.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 224 Lovely St., Avon, CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
