Craig Warren Prowe, 67, formally of Avon, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. He was born July 1, 1951. He was the son of the late Edward Warren and Geraldine (Spulick) Prowe and had lived in Avon most of his life. Craig was member of Avon Congregational Church and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. Craig was a long-time employee of A.C. Petersen Farm in Avon and Bloomfield and Andy’s Supermarket in Simsbury.
He is survived by his sisters, Claudia Howard and her husband Bob of Winchester Center, CT and Alison Reichert and her husband Tom of Spring Hill, FL; his brother, Peter Prowe of Warwick, RI; three nieces and one great niece.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be celebrated, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, CT. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
