Obituary for Cynthia Ann Quinn

Cynthia “Cindy” Moore Quinn, of Simsbury, age 72, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2018. Cindy was the beloved wife of George Quinn for the past 36 years. She is predeceased by her father Ralph Moore, her mother, Denise Sandberg and her uncle, James Kelly. Prior to moving to Simsbury in 2012, Cindy lived in Virginia, Texas, Illinois and Florida, always adapting and making new friends along the way. She worked retail including selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a caregiver to the young and the old in her family. She was a volunteer for the Simons Foundation and the Simsbury Preforming Arts Center.

In addition to her husband, George, she leaves behind her twin sister, Patricia (Carl), daughters, Jennifer Dragon and Theresa Brown (Mal) and their son Landon, cousin, Donald Moore, (Amy). She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Rosemary Slade (Charles), brothers-in-law, Joseph Quinn, (Linda), John Quinn, (Carol), six nieces and nephews, three grandnieces and four grandnephews.

There are no calling hours. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 22nd, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 942 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in her memory to the Simons Foundation, 120 Rescue Lane, Bloomfield, CT 06002.
