I worked closely with Dan for a few years at Alstom Power - especially when we were trying to enter the solar market. I was always impressed with how he treated people, be it the customer, internal executives, peers and support personnel. He was smart, hard working, funny, fun to be with, polite, professional - liked by all. He was proud of his family and talked of them often. Please accept my sincere condolences and I wish you all strength as you move forward. Brad Prouty.

Amy and I are so sorry about Dan's passing. His health fight was miraculous and not unexpected knowing that type of person Dan was. Even though our paths diverged after L'ville, it was always great to occasionally talk/text with Dan and hear about how he and his family were doing. I still remember vividly Dan and Wayne vocally fighting over how to best BBQ a piece of meat during a party at their apartment. I could not stop laughing (and it was a darn nice meal!). He was bright ray of sunshine in my life and will be missed. You are in our prayers.

Eales family,

I’m deeply saddened about Dan passing. We worked together at Alstom now GE on the solar venture. He was a great person always seeing the positive side of things. Enjoyed many lunchtime runs with him. Will always cherish our conversations about life and family. Will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Dan was a role model for us as the most loving, kind and happy husband to Nadine and friend to us. Your smile was contagious. Some of our favorite memories were living a few doors down in Louisville. Those evenings of laughing and dancing to music at your house will never be forgotten.

Dan...keep us a warm spot next to you in Heaven ......we can’t wait to hug you again. Keep smiling down on us.

Love John and Chaye
