Joel Martin Hollfelder, 32, of Torrington, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. He was born April 18, 1987 in Hartford, son of Neil J. Hollfelder and Jane L. (Dlubac) Milas. He received recognition in Food and Wine Magazine for one of his beautiful gardens. He enjoyed being outdoors, biking, hiking, boating, yoga, farming, quading, canoing, and snowboarding, listening to music, loved cooking and eating good healthy food, working on his truck, and spending time with his friends and family. His fun, happy, easy-going personality gave him the nickname “Jolly-Joel”.
