Obituary for Vera C. Hartford
Vera Loretta (Charook) Hartford, 91, of Canton, the beloved wife of Earl for 65 years passed away on February 25, 2021 after a long hard battle with Wegener’s Granulomatosis.
Vera was born to John and Mary Charook who immigrated from Russia. She was the youngest of six. Vera was an incredible cook, avid reader, bird watcher, expert gardener. She loved spending time with her family, attending UCONN Women’s basketball games, Bushnell Broadway Series, traveling to Europe and Florida and attending her Grandchildren’s events.
In addition to her husband Earl, she is survived by her children Debbie Palladino, Linda Fournier (Mike), Cheryl Glasgow (Sean), Roger Hartford (Corrine), her grandchildren Rachel and Olivia Fournier, Trevor, Shealagh and Mitch Glasgow and her many nieces, nephews and grandnieces & nephews.

Doctors: Dr. Trivedi, Dr. Mandhadi, Dr. Kanaan & Dr. Waddington for their dedication in helping Vera the last seven years. We would also like to thank Angela Deveraux, our angel for taking great care of Vera, and Farmington Valley Hospice.
Vera’s family will receive friends during a walk through visitation on Monday, March 1st from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Services will be private.
