Obituary for Russell John Richardson IV

Russell John Richardson, IV, 35, of Canton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 3, 2021. He is the beloved son of Donna and Russell John Richardson, III. Russ was proud to be the fourth generation of plumbers for Russell J. Richardson, Inc, where he enjoyed working with his dad, grandfather, and Tyler (who was like a brother). A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee, the brook, kayaking, fishing and boating. He got his thrills from off-roading, snowmobiling, and bungee jumping. A family man, he loved game night, playing cards and dominoes.

In addition to his loving parents, he leaves his sister, Christie and her husband Alessandro of Canton; his niece and “little dolphin” Gabriella and sweet nephew, Mateo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents; as well as his beloved dog, his “little man” Ash.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 16th at Valley Community Baptist Church, 590 West Avon Road in Avon. A private burial will follow at Dyer Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Village for Families and Children, 1680 Albany Ave, Hartford, CT 06105 or to Youth Challenge of CT, 15-17 May Street, Hartford, CT 06105. The Vincent Funeral Home of Canton is caring for the arrangements. Please visit Russ’s Book of Memories at www.vincentfuneralhome.com.
