Edna Rose (Leithead) Johnson, 60, of Tariffville, died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at home with family, following a long battle with breast cancer. She was born April 20, 1961 in Oaklyn, NJ, daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Scelsco) Leithead and had lived in Westmont, NJ prior to moving to Simsbury, 32 years ago. Edna was a graduate of Haddon Township High School, Class of 1979, and had received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Capital Community College. She was a Registered Nurse for many years specializing in mental health and addiction services. Edna enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. She treasured her role as Nana and embraced every moment. She had a passion for Sci-Fi and paranormal phenomena. Edna enjoyed documentaries, playing piano, and cooking.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kelly Esposito and husband Tony of Plainville and Christine Johnson of Simsbury; her siblings, Robert Leithead and Pat Marino and her beloved grandchildren, Gavin Esposito and Seri Johnson.
