Keith Eaton Viering, 68, of Barkhamsted, peacefully passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at John Dempsey Hospital. He was born January 13, 1954 in Hartford, son of the late Donald Joseph and Marie (Eaton) Viering. He was a lifelong resident of Canton and a graduate of Canton High School, where he returned to volunteer for the Booster Club. He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Collinsville where he assisted during services at the altar in various roles, and served on the Vestry, and several other committees. He was a former member of the Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department, an avid sports fan, and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at his cottage on West Hill.

He was predeceased by his wife Susan (Belliveau) Viering and son Alan. He is survived by his son, Kevin and wife Jennifer, his grandchildren, Keegan and Maddox; his sisters, Donna Viering; Linda (Steve) Burgess; and brother, Don (Emily) Viering and several loving nieces and nephews.
