Obituary for Kelsey Maria Vetter (Kulik)

Kelsey Maria Kulik Vetter left us on Monday May 30, 2022 after a long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 50, from Fredericksburg Virginia. She spent her life as a caregiver and advocate for the developmentally disabled, as well as being a Mother. She devoted her life to her son Aaron.; loving, caring and guiding him through every step of his life and journey.

She loved all things Disney and Harry Potter, as well as crafting, sewing, crocheting, antiques, gardening, and molding a life around her favorite things.

She was born in Connecticut and raised in Canton through her early years. Developing her roots which she held dearly throughout her life. She moved to Florida in time to graduate from Central High School in Spring Hill.

Kelsey touched the hearts of everyone around her and will be missed greatly by many in the communities in which she lived. Connecticut, Florida and Virginia. She has spent the last 12 years in Fredericksburg Virginia with the love of her life, Craig Ebert.

Later in life, Kelsey pursued a bachelor’s degree in Psychology to better help those in her care. Her clients and coworkers will never forget her compassion and pride that went above and beyond, every day. She was proceeded in death by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents, and her stepmother, Ellen Kulik.

She is survived and mourned by her Mother and a man that had become a second father, Sandra (Sam) and Michael Fagan of Homosassa, Florida. Her Father, George Kulik of Canton Connecticut. Her sister and brother-in-law, Kristin and Tony Barlow, of Homosassa Florida. Her Nieces, Kayla and fiancé Russel Antis, Flora and husband Josh Hibner, nephew Tony (TJ) Barlow, also of Homosassa Florida. Her great nephews Russel Antis III, and Noah Hibner. She is also mourned greatly by her son Aaron and his wife Devany of Zephyrhills, Florida and her partner in life, Craig Ebert of Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Kelsey had a spirit that will never be extinguished. She had a fiery attitude and strength in the face of adversity. We will continue to live everyday with the lessons and gifts that she imparted in all of us. She is an inspiration to always go after your goals, no matter how hard they seem. She was fierce, strong, and determined, not letting fear, grief, or pity stand in her way. We will remember her in our hearts forever.

At the request of Kelsey, there will be no immediate services for her, and a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of her family. However, she would encourage each of you to celebrate her, and the ideals that she stood for, each and every day. In lieu of flowers, or contributions, the family would ask that you contribute to the tenacity of Kelsey by going the extra step out of your way, to help another in need.
