Obituary for Shirley Dunphy (Dubrosky)
Shirley Mae Dubrosky Craft Dunphy of Bristol passed on July 12, 2022, peacefully. Born in Hartford February 24, 1940, Shirley lived a blessed life with her family. She was an avid writer and painter as well as being very creative in many other aspects of life. She had a strong faith-based life and was very active in her church as clerk of church, choir singer, secretary, and Sunday school teacher.
She is pre-deceased by her husband William, her brother Robert and sister Jean. She leaves behind two sons, Rodney Craft and his family of Burlington and Rondal of Bristol. Also, Mary Lee Dunphy Bogovic and her family of Utah, her brother Daniel Dubrosky and his family of Bristol, her sister Margaret DuBois of Farmington, and many nieces and nephews of whom she loved so very much.
Services will be held later and a celebration of life to be honored later.
Shirley’s sons wish to thank the ICU, IU, and Hospice centers at UConn Health for all their compassion and caring for their mother. In leu of flowers, please make donations to the National Kidney Foundation in her honor.
