Obituary for Jessica Brunelle (McCammon)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessica Cole Brunelle on November 14, 2022. Jessica was born September 5, 1983. Despite help from physicians and support from family and friends, she was not able to overcome the obstacles that consumed her later on in her life.

Jessica's innate sense of empathy and caring, as well as her admiration for her father's achievements in the medical field, brought her to the nursing profession. Jessica received a nursing degree from Cedarville University and worked as a Registered Nurse. Even at a younger age, Jessica always wanted to help out any neighbor, friend, or even stranger in need of love and support - which made a career in nursing in hospitals, schools, and home healthcare a natural fit.

That sense of empathy, as well her admiration of her mother and grandmother, made her a naturally loving and caring mother as well. Perhaps Jessica would say that her greatest accomplishment in life was raising three wonderful boys, all of whom exhibit the spirit of love, kindness, and empathy that she modeled.

Jessica was however not always bound by the deeper human emotions of empathy and concern. In addition to her more serious and empathetic side, she often showed a friendly, silly, and loquacious side as well. She would often be the first person to break the ice amongst a new group. She had the gift of gab and charm, and as such could make any newcomer feel welcome. She always wanted to share her happiness to make others feel included, welcome, and amongst friends. She loved to ponder ideas for a winning and creative costume for any costume party, develop elaborately decorated cake designs, and collaborate on a challenging puzzle with anyone who'd take the time to join forces with her.

Jessica is survived by her husband Matthew Brunelle, her three children, Dilan (17), Brock (13) and Levi Bruenlle (2), all of East Granby, CT; her brother Brandt McCammon of Baltimore, MD; and her father Richard McCammon of Fishers, IN. She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia McCammon.

Her family will grieve her loss and she will be painfully missed, but many good memories will remain. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time. Please visit Jessica's Book of Memories atwww.vincentfuneralhome.com for online tributes.
