Mary (Muehleisen) Wiseman, 73, of Avon, wife of the late George Wiseman, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the Governor’s House in Simsbury. She was born September 20, 1949 in Patterson, NJ, daughter of the late John Alwin and Virginia (Bedell) Muehleisen and had lived in Simsbury prior to moving to Avon. She was a Nurse Aide at McLean in Simsbury for many years prior to her retirement. She was a philanthropist and long time volunteer for Favarh. Mary enjoyed gardening and traveling the world.

She leaves her sons, Doug Sambrook and wife Bonnie of Kyle, TX and David Sambrook and wife Dina of Alpharetta GA; her daughter, Jaimie Sambrook of Canton; her sister, Ann Morris and husband James of Allendale, NJ; her brothers, Jack Muhler and wife Kathryn of Nellies Ford, VA and David Muehleisen and wife Cheryl of Olympia, WA; her grandchildren, Apollonia Sambrook, Ace Sambrook and Summer Steele; her nieces, Heather, Mary Beth, Katie, Laura, Claire; nephews, John and Kurt and her grandnephew, Danny Oleary.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 30th at the Simsbury Cemetery, 16 Plank Hill Road in Simsbury.
