Karen Michaud Foley, 74, of Simsbury, beloved wife of Michael F. Foley, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 with Michael at her side. She was born November 22, 1948 in Hartford, daughter of the late Renaud "Mitch" and Carolyn (Emerson) Michaud and had lived in Simsbury for many years. Mrs. Foley was a Connecticut State Police Radio Dispatcher for several years prior to her retirement from Konica Minolta in Windsor. Karen was a member of St. Mary’s Parish in Simsbury. She enjoyed her hobby of putting together beautiful family photo albums over the years, travel around the United States and caring for her Yorkie "Prince".

In addition to her loving husband of 47 years, she leaves her children, Michael Foley and wife Lauren of Stockbridge, VT, Matthew Foley and wife Liza of Hunter, NY, Nicole Foley Banks and husband Tracy of Rockville Vernon, CT, her brother Clyde Michaud of East Hartford, CT; her grandson, Damian Foley, granddaughter Brooklyn Foley, granddaughter Annemarie Foley, many nieces and nephews and friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by a sister Kathryn M. Michaud of East Hartford.

Calling hours will be held at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury on Thursday, October 12th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 13th. Private burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Rockville Vernon, Donations in her memory may be made to St. Bernard Parish or St. Mary's Parish.
