Obituary for Robert R. Eskay
Robert R. “Bob” Eskay passed away December 12, 2023 at his home in Canton, CT after many years of valiantly fighting many disabilities. Bob was born and raised in New Jersey then moved to CT in 1986.
Bob was a Research Chemist at Johnson & Johnson in NJ for many years before moving to a new research position at Ensign Bickford in Simsbury.
He was a man of many talents, hobbies, and interests, excelling in all he endeavored. He especially loved baking bread, target shooting and was always a “Mr. Fix It” if something was broken.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth “Betsy”, brother Ronald (Karen) of New Jersey and predeceased by his brother Richard. He leaves behind two sons, Robert J. (Cecelia) and Thomas (Gina) of New Jersey, grandchildren, Dave, Kerry, Patrick, Caroline and Ryan, all of New Jersey and Robert (Nicole) and three great grandchildren, Callie, Hayley and Mason, all of South Carolina.
He will be missed.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal charity of choice.
