William Morehouse Taylor, 74, of East Granby, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. He was born August 2, 1949 in Bridgeport, son of the late Bruce William and Doris (Beach) Taylor and had lived in Milford prior to moving to Simsbury 45 years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and had received his Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from Uconn. Mr. Taylor was an English Teacher at the Master’s School in Simsbury for several years prior to his retirement in 2005. Bill enjoyed reading and writing, was an avid gamer and most of all loved to spend time with his three boys, seven grandchildren and his best friend, Victoria Papacoda.

He is survived by Victoria Papacoda and their three sons, Joshua Taylor and wife Launa of New Hartford, Nathaniel Taylor and wife Jessica of East Granby and Luke Taylor and wife Heather of Simsbury; his grandchildren, Magnolia, Jack, Isabel, Lila, Valerie, August and Madison; his sister, Elizabeth Hagen and husband Willie; his nephews, Bobby, Michael, Steve and Danny; his niece, Heather and cousin Ruth. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Taylor.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 30th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury.
