Obituary for Lois Ann LeBelle

Lois Ann LeBelle, 86 of Burlington, beloved wife of the late Louis LeBelle, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at her home. She was born June 9, 1937 in Collinsville daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie (Sharpe) Dlugokenski and has lived in Burlington for her entire life. In 1956, Lois married the love of her life Lou, they enjoyed 65 years of marriage before his passing in 2022. Lois was employed by the Burlington Post Office for many years prior to her retirement in 1997. Lois enjoyed reading, doing word searches and most of all spending time with her husband. Lois loved her family and found such joy in her granddaughters, great grandchildren and great nieces.

Lois is at peace and reunited with her late husband and late daughter Donna Barth. Lois is survived by a son, Douglas LeBelle and his partner Kevin Reid of Amherst, MA; her sister Ellinor Poirier of Mount Pleasant, NC; nieces and nephews, her granddaughters Marie, Jessica and Grace Barth, two great grandchildren Haylie and Troy and two great nieces who were grandchildren in her heart, Karlie Whitmore and Valerie Neuhausser. The family would like to thank Bristol Home Care & Hospice and CT Community Care Program. Without their assistance, we wouldn’t have been able to fulfill Lois’ wish to remain in her home. A special thank you to Julienne Eyong Ayuk, her devoted caregiver who has cared for her for the past five years.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 6th at St. Partick’s Church, 50 Church Street in Collinsville. Burial will follow in Burlington Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. The Vincent Funeral Home of Canton is caring for the arrangements.
