Josefa Maria Therese Kilbourn passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015. She was born in Hartford on May 12th to the late Dr. Joseph B. Kilbourn and Myra, Countess von Gussich Kilbourn. She was predeceased by her brother, Orrin Paul Kilbourn, II. Josefa was the direct descendent of Connecticut settlers. She was educated at the Oxford School, Chathen High School, Dean College and the University of Connecticut. Josefa was the Medical Assistant to her father, Joseph B. Kilbourn, MD. Jo was known for her beautiful singing voice and had volunteered at McLean in Simsbury, entertaining and giving pleasure to the elderly and infirmed with her repertoire of songs. She leaves to celebrate her memory, her brother, Joseph B. Kilbourn of Bronxville, NY and her beloved sister and best friend, Christine Kilbourn-Jones of Simsbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 6th, at St. Therese Church, 120 West Granby Road in Granby.
