Nancy Anne Trask
Nancy Anne (Woessner)Dinsmore Trask, 85, of Simsbury, CT, beloved wife of the late Robert A. Trask, died Tuesday October 18, 2016 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. She was born September 14, 1931 in Rudolph, OH, daughter of the late John Henry and Alta (Yarger) Woessner and had lived in Maumee, OH prior to moving to Simsbury, 58 years ago. Nancy was a Cafeteria Manager for the Simsbury School System for 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Old St. Andrew’s Church in Bloomfield, CT and active in the Episcopal Church Women Group and Alter Guild. Nancy was also active at the Simsbury Senior Center, she enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod, Maine and Ohio. She was famous for her cookies and pies and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her six children, Jackie McCreesh and her wife Nancy of Southington, CT, Sandee Vines of Torrington, CT, Karen Dinsmore of Weatogue, CT, Michael W. Dinsmore and his wife Heidi of Norfolk, CT, Warren Trask and his wife Cecilia of Weare, NH and Ted Trask and his wife Sheryl of Lebanon, CT; her sister, Yorela Clements and her husband Ted of Mount Blanchard, OH, her sister-in-law, Louise Woessner of Bowling Green, OH and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers, John and Bobby Woessner and two sisters, Evelyn Fausnaugh and Ruth Koontz. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 27th, at Old St. Andrew’s Church, 59 Tariffville Road in Bloomfield, CT. Private burial will be in Old St. Andrew’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the ECW c/o Old St. Andrew’s Church and the Simsbury Senior Center at 933 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, CT.
