The garage
In between my tears, I will share just one of thousands of stories about Maa. When I was a little girl, we had a one-car garage with a dirt floor. The floor was deeply grooved after years of use. One day Maa pulled the only car we had into the garage and kept trying to straighten it so that Dad would be able to get to work the next morning. Only Maa could manage to maneuver the car sideways into that small space. Dad had to tear the entire garage down, board by board, before he could get the car out. I hope Dad took the car keys away from her in heaven. Love you Maa, and I "m" it too!
