I had the privilege of meeting Jeff when I moved to Colorado at the age of 10. We went through nearly two decades of school, Boy Scouts, baseball and just growing up together. He was a wonderful guy and I feel so dearly for his family and friends. Not sure of the right words to use, but he will be missed greatly & his memory will live on. God Bless his family and parents and all that had a chance to call him a friend. Much love & hug your loved ones. You won't be forgotten JB.

Having had the pleasure to work with Jeff in the Danbury Hospital NICU, My fellow nurses and I truly enjoyed our relationship with him. He was always approachable, and whole heartedly took into consideration our opinions on the babies when providing care. He was intelligent, and wore many hats, taking the time to be a part of many councils to improve patient care. We feel a strong absence in our unit, and will truly miss him and his smiling face.

I admired and respected Dr. Bartlett so much. He was passionate about his work, always innovating and bringing new ideas to the Danbury and Norwalk Hospital NICUs so babies had the absolute best care. He would be excited to tell me about advances in the NICU so we could then share the great news with others.

Always humble and appreciative, during media interviews, he thoughtfully put focus on his colleagues and the collaborative teamwork that goes into caring for the tiniest babies.

Dr. Bartlett had a profound impact on many people, especially babies that were given a chance to live their life because of him.

Dr. Bartlett will be sorely missed. To his family, I’m so, so sorry for your loss.

For memories, here’s Dr. Bartlett:

Jeff, working with you at Lutheran was such a pleasure. We had some crazy cases when we were on together but the babies were always in the very best hands. You were an amazing doctor and person. Rest In Peace, my dear friend. ❤️
