All of his life I was always telling Norris not to leave the key in the forward/starting position in the car to listen to music because it drains the battery. The night before he left for California he stayed here and we got ready in the morning. As he was doing a last check of his carry on bag he found in a side pocket a large straight razor he had forgotten about but had collected because it was "cool". Even better the blade was stamped "made in Pakistan", how do you think that would have gone over at airport security!? Unshaven dreadlocked hippy with a dangerous weapon at Bradley-might have made front page in the paper! Obviously he left the razor here. As was usual for him, we were running late and he needed to go out to the place he had been living to get some stuff he forgot, leading us to be more late. As I got in the Jeep to start the trip, I found the key in the forward position and my battery dead as a doornail, Norris had run out for beer the night before using the Jeep and not shut off the ignition. We still made it on time, but what a classic Norris morning. I laughed so hard and wanted to throttle him at the same time.
